Okay, here we go. I want to share some pictures of the new house that Susan and I bought on October 23, 2006 and have been rehabbing for the last 3 months. I have a lot of before pictures that I haven't put up so I'll just go ahead and put them on here. Here is the exterior of the house.
It's a 3 story in Oakley built in 1916 and it needs a little work! The top floor of the house burned in 1997 and so the entire 2nd floor ceiling and up was replaced including new roofing members and roof. Pretty much everything in the house is original other than the 3rd floor. The exterior is in need of some major attention with vines growing over most of the house and the front yard has a lot of over growth as well. Here are some shots of the exterior when we got started.
Here is a picture of the backyard with the out of control garden that the previous homeowner liked to "let the bugs and plants battle it out and see who wins".
