Today Susan had a snow day and was able to some good work on the house today. We finished painting the living room as you can see here. Also had a chance to change out the old light for a new fan. It looks really good now!
You have done WONDERS with this house and you will love it 1,000,000 times more by putting a little of your own blood, sweat and tears into it! I have to commend you guys on all the hard work and effort you are doing to turn this into your nest egg! Unlike my Brad and I, we just find a house that is almost done and pick all of our stuff! There's heartache and joy of moving every two years! Congratulations on the house - it looks amazing! (Is it haunted?! :-) )
Thanks, Jen! We are having a great time doing it and seeing the transformation. It is definitely rewarding but you also definitely pay for it in stress, long hours, and the inevitable bickering..."what do you mean you want the purple toilet seat, I want the green shag one!". We can't wait to get in!
